Fabric Technician (2 Static Positions Available)

Location: Coventry (CV6 & CV7)

Salary: £29,500 - £33,000 per annum

Contract: Full Time | Permanent

Holiday: 25 Days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays

On-Call: 1 in 6 Rota (£125 Standby Payment)

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm

• Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm

Are you an experienced Fabric Technician, Handyperson, Maintenance Operative, or Multi-Skilled Technician looking for a secure, static role with a leading Facilities Management company?

We are recruiting for two Static Fabric Technician positions based at commercial sites in Coventry. These permanent opportunities offer excellent work-life balance, long-term job security, and the chance to join an established Facilities Management team.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive building fabric repairs

• Complete general maintenance tasks including:

  • Basic carpentry

  • Door repairs and adjustments

  • Lock and ironmongery repairs

  • Ceiling and flooring repairs

  • Painting and decorating

  • Basic plumbing repairs

  • Patch plastering and making good

  • General building maintenance

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests

• Complete maintenance reports using CAFM systems

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures

• Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high site standards

• Previous experience as a Fabric Technician, Handyperson, Maintenance Operative, Building Maintenance Technician, Caretaker, or Multi-Skilled Operative

• Experience with in Facilities Management, Building Services, Commercial Property, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, or Industrial environments

• Good all-round building fabric maintenance skills

• Basic plumbing and carpentry experience

• Good communication and organisational skills

• £29,500 - £33,000 basic salary

• 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

• £125 standby payment (1 in 6 on-call rota)
