Engineering Technicians

Installation Technician – Pertemps Daventry is recruiting for an Installation Technician for a client in Daventry, working across the UK’s busiest shopping centres. The role involves installing and dismantling retail kiosks, promotional displays and related equipment, primarily overnight. It operates on a 5‑day‑out‑of‑7 rota, with weekend and shift flexibility. The technician will also support warehouse operations at the Daventry depot when not on‑site.

• Install and dismantle retail kiosks and promotional equipment in shopping centres across the UK.
• Load and unload company vehicles with installation equipment and materials.
• Carry out routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Travel nationwide for installations and collections, with occasional overnight stays.
• Support warehouse operations, including equipment preparation, stock organisation and inventory management.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety while delivering quality installations.

• Practical, hands‑on individual with experience using tools, assembly work, carpentry or similar practical skills.
• Electrical and/or vinyl wrapping experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends and a 5‑out‑of‑7 working pattern.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK as required.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points (essential). A check will be required prior to employment.

• Competitive salary of £26,000 – £28,000, dependent on experience.
