£22.79 p/h - 12pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday Workshop‑based - Stable, long‑term role

You'll take ownership of the workshop from midday onwards, making sure every HGV is ready to roll out safely and reliably the next morning.
This isn't just another supervisor job - it's a chance to run your shift your way, with full responsibility for standards, workflow and output.
What You'll Take Charge Of
Late‑shift leadership - you run the workshop from 12pm-10pm, keeping technicians focused, productive and on‑task
HGV maintenance oversight - ensure repairs, servicing and inspections are completed correctly and on time
Waste‑fleet engineering - support refuse vehicles, hydraulics, bin lifts and heavy plant systems
Job allocation & workflow control - prioritise urgent work, plan ahead and keep vehicles available for next‑day routes
Diagnostics & fault support - assist technicians with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Quality, compliance & safety - enforce workshop standards and ensure every vehicle leaves the bay safe
Parts & stock coordination - identify parts, manage inventory and keep repairs moving
End‑of‑shift reporting - update job cards, record work completed and hand over cleanly to the next day's team

What You Bring
Strong HGV technical background
Experience supervising technicians or leading workshop activity
Confidence with diagnostics, hydraulics and electrical fault‑finding
Ability to manage workloads and keep the fleet compliant
A safety‑first mindset and a reliable work ethic
