Avid Tutor Temporary Positions
There are a few part-time, Avid Tutor, temporary positions at various school sites. This recruitment will also be used to develop an eligibility list to fill future part-time vacancies and substitute/temporary positions in this classification for up to six months. Under direct supervision, tutors secondary school students individually and in study groups in college prep courses, and perform other work as required.
Required qualifications:
Must be enrolled and completing at least 12 units per semester in an accredited college or university. Enrollment in a program that will lead to a teaching credential is desirable. Graduation from high school is required. Preference may be given to graduates of Covina-Valley Unified School District High Schools. The following must be attached to the edjoin application:
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (One, no older than a year.)
- Proof of HS Graduation
