Elementary Band Teacher
This is an exceptional opportunity to inspire the next generation through the power of music education. The Elementary Band Teacher serves as an instructional leader, fostering students' musical growth, creativity, and appreciation for the performing arts. This position provides high-quality instrumental music instruction to elementary students, primarily in grades 4–6, at multiple school sites. The teacher develops and implements engaging, standards-based lessons that build fundamental instrumental skills, encourage artistic expression, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for music.
In addition to classroom instruction, the teacher coordinates and directs student performances and other musical activities that enrich the educational experience and strengthen school and community engagement.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Single Subject Music credential, or Multiple Subject credential with at least 12 lower or 6 upper division semester units in Music
