Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for oversight of day-to-day accounting and grant accounting
- Assists in the management of the agency cash flow and prepares regular cash flow projections
- Supervises the timely monthly closing process for invoicing and financial reporting and maintains balance sheet schedules
- Prepares monthly financial statements and regular program financial reports
- Reviews and approves bank reconciliations
- Assists in the management of the annual audit and tax preparation
- Strong customer service orientation required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with multiple non-profit accounting software (Quick Books preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required (education requirements may be substituted with comparable work experience)
- Minimum of 5 years' related experience
