Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Direct Hire)

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in a high-impact role essential to our operational success. This professional will be responsible for ensuring that material supply and inventory levels flow seamlessly throughout the organization. Acting as a key collaborator with our vendors, you will represent the company’s contribution to these valued partnerships.

Position Overview
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Compensation: $85,000.00 – $ (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Oversight: Manage multiple product lines from point of origin to point of consumption.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop material purchase plans driven by sales forecasts and customer demand.
  • Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory usage, scrap, and waste to provide strategic insights for improving inventory flow.
  • Logistics & Balance: Develop strategic approaches to balance shipments, shortages, and logistics while managing engineering changes and cancellations.
  • Coordination: Manage material movements between storage areas and external suppliers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Shipping and Receiving to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
  • High-Level Advisory: Provide strategic recommendations on ongoing projects for each product line and source materials/resources worldwide.
Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum BA/BS Degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in a regulated manufacturing environment is required.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Material Resource Planning (MRP).
  • Global Relations: Proven experience building and maintaining international and domestic supplier relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM are considered a strong plus.
