Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health (In-Office)
Location:
Covina, CA Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Clinical Support:
Review and process home health clinical documentation (OASIS knowledge preferred) - Assist with care coordination between field nurses, therapists, and physicians
- Review physician orders for accuracy and completeness
- Support case managers with patient care follow-up
- Ensure timely documentation and EMR compliance
- Quality Assurance (QA):
Perform chart audits to ensure compliance with Medicare and state regulations - Review OASIS documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with ADRs, survey preparedness, and compliance initiatives
- Identify documentation deficiencies and provide corrective guidance
- Training & Staff Support:
Assist with onboarding and training of field clinicians - Provide education on documentation standards and agency policies
- Support ongoing training related to home health regulations and best practices
- Serve as a clinical resource for field staff
- Medical Supplies & Inventory:
Manage medical supply inventory for field clinicians - Coordinate ordering and vendor communication
- Ensure proper tracking and distribution of supplies and equipment
- Daily Operations:
Support Administrator and Director of Nursing with daily clinical oversight - Communicate with physicians’ offices regarding orders and documentation
- Participate in case conferences and quality improvement meetings
- Current, active RN license in the state of CA
- Minimum 1–2 years of home health experience preferred
- OASIS and Medicare documentation experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of home health regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with EMR systems (Axxess Home Health)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
