Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Home Health agency in an in-office role. This position plays a vital part in supporting clinical operations, ensuring quality assurance compliance, coordinating supplies, and assisting with staff training.
The ideal candidate has home health experience, strong knowledge of regulatory standards, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities Clinical Support
Review and process home health clinical documentation (OASIS knowledge preferred)
Assist with care coordination between field nurses, therapists, and physiciansReview physician orders for accuracy and completenessSupport case managers with patient care follow-upEnsure timely documentation and EMR complianceQuality Assurance (QA)
Perform chart audits to ensure compliance with Medicare and state regulationsReview OASIS documentation for accuracy and completenessAssist with ADRs, survey preparedness, and compliance initiativesIdentify documentation deficiencies and provide corrective guidanceTraining & Staff Support
Assist with onboarding and training of field cliniciansProvide education on documentation standards and agency policiesSupport ongoing training related to home health regulations and best practicesServe as a clinical resource for field staffMedical Supplies & Inventory
Manage medical supply inventory for field cliniciansCoordinate ordering and vendor communicationEnsure proper tracking and distribution of supplies and equipmentDaily Operations
Support Administrator and Director of Nursing with daily clinical oversightCommunicate with physicians’ offices regarding orders and documentationParticipate in case conferences and quality improvement meetingsQualifications
Current, active RN license in the state of CAMinimum 1–2 years of home health experience preferredOASIS and Medicare documentation experience highly preferredKnowledge of home health regulations and compliance standardsExperience with EMR systems (Axxess Home Health)Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced office environmentBenefits
