Essential Responsibility:
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department. This includes areas such as Accounts Payable. Will support month-end closing tasks as well. Other duties may be required, directed, or assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Collecting and uploading AP invoices
  • AP invoices entry
  • AP payment processing: ACH/Wire/Checks/Autopay
  • Currency rate updating
  • Creating cost allocation
  • Sales & Use Tax return preparation
  • Supporting Advisor on reconciliation for Month-End Closing (Cash/AR/Inventory/Other Assets/Fixed Assets/AP/Other Liabilities)
  • Other accounting duties by handling special projects, major assignments, and other duties as directed by the controller
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Manages time and resources using tools provided by the company to maximize productivity and meet deadlines
  • Keeps management informed by participating in meetings and reporting problems to management
  • Performs general administrative duties including writing and distributing reports, handling mail and faxes, filing, copying, and other duties as needed
  • Complies with federal, state, and local requirements by studying regulations, adhering to requirements, and filing reports as necessary

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk in office or field duties
  • Full range of motion to see, hear, touch, and observe documents
  • Ordinary vision and hearing for communication and observation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Education / Certifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with a concentration in accounting (minimum requirement); 2–3 years relevant work experience in accounting preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
