JOB SUMMARY

The Equipment Engineering Administrative Technician supports the Equipment Engineering team by managing operational data, documentation, spare parts, and administrative processes. This role is responsible for organizing and analyzing key equipment data (such as FDC trends), tracking improvement initiatives (O/I), managing scrap performance data, and supporting decision‑making for managers and engineers in a semiconductor glass substrate manufacturing environment. In addition, this position provides administrative support including meeting coordination, travel tracking, and recruitment assistance to improve overall team efficiency.

DUTIES

/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for supporting equipment engineering operations through data management, analysis, and reporting. Ensures efficient tracking of spare parts, improvement activities, and documentation systems. Provides administrative coordination to enhance team productivity and operational efficiency:

  • Equipment Data & Analysis Support
  • Collect, organize, and analyze FDC (Fault Detection & Classification) trend data by equipment
  • Prepare weekly/monthly FDC reports and share with management via email
  • Track and summarize alarm trends and abnormal patterns
  • Spare Parts Management & Procurement
  • Maintain and update spare parts lists and inventory status
  • Support purchasing requests for required parts
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal procurement teams to ensure timely supply
  • O/I (Operational Improvement) Tracking
  • Track progress of improvement initiatives (O/I)
  • Manage schedules and update progress reports
  • Support task force (TF) activities and organize related data
  • Recruitment & Onboarding Support
  • Assist with scheduling interviews for new hires
  • Support onboarding documentation and training preparation
  • Production / Quality Data Management
  • Compile and manage substrate scrap performance data
  • Prepare weekly/monthly scrap trend reports
  • Summarize defect types and identify improvement opportunities
  • Data & Documentation Management
  • Manage and organize Teams channel and shared data folders
  • Maintain SOPs, Tech Notes, and reports with proper version control
  • Improve data accessibility and standardization
  • Administrative & Operational Support
  • Manage meeting room reservations and schedules
  • Provide general administrative support for team operations
REQUIREMENTS

Requires strong data handling, reporting, and organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office. Must demonstrate attention to detail, multitasking ability, and effective communication. Basic understanding of manufacturing environments; semiconductor experience preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) – intermediate or above
  • Strong data organization and analysis skills
  • Ability to create structured reports and documentation
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or equipment processes
Core Competencies
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Good communication skills with engineers and management

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor, display, or glass substrate manufacturing
  • Experience with systems such as FDC, MES, ERP
  • Data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI)
  • Experience supporting engineering teams (Equipment / Process)
  • English communication skills (reporting and email writing)

EDUCATION
  • Associate degree or higher (Engineering, Data, or Business‑related field preferred)

  • Entry‑level or 1–3 years of related experience preferred (manufacturing, administrative support, data management, or engineering support)
