Job Overview

The Commercial Excellence Home Care/Government Trainer supports UCC Home Care products and BD’s UCC Federal Healthcare Markets, working closely with physicians, case managers, clinicians, and nursing leaders to transition patients from hospital to home.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver education, content creation, and adult‑learning programs for sales personnel.
- Coordinate in‑house, sales‑meeting, and field‑based training across domestic and international groups.
- Create live and on‑demand high‑impact sales presentations.
- Assess skill gaps and design developmental programs for high‑potential individuals.
- Deliver advanced sales training for tenured field sales managers.
- Support new product training in collaboration with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Product Management.
- Create instructor‑led, distance‑learning, video, and web‑based curricula as needed.
- Measure program effectiveness, develop reports, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Administer other duties as assigned.
- Proven communication and presentation skills.
- Strong listening, assessment, questioning, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and navigating change.
- Ability to set goals, prioritize activities, and execute cross‑functional initiatives.
- Willingness to travel and manage supportive staff independently.
- Proficiency with PC and tablet applications: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
- Educational or professional experience in training, field sales training, or training management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Professional training experience in field sales training and people management.
- Government experience preferred.
- Travel flexibility.
- Intermediate keyboarding skills.
