On-site Construction Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Buildouts

This Assistant Project Manager role is built for someone who is organized, people‑focused, and energized by a fast‑moving environment. Working side by side with seasoned Project Managers and other stakeholders you will help drive commercial drywall projects to successful completion. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or comparable work experience.
• At least one year in commercial construction or project coordination; exposure to drywall, finishing, or a related field is ideal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with construction management software is a plus.

• Serve as a communication link between project managers, clients, and field teams to keep projects aligned.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and allocating resources to maintain timelines and budgets.
• Partner with field crews to uphold strong workmanship standards and keep clients satisfied.
• Tackle unexpected issues head‑on with creativity and persistence.
• Document project progress, keep records current, and report updates to stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements that increase team efficiency.

Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year.
