The Covington News is seeking its next News Editor.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will help shape news coverage in Newton County, from writing and layout to social media and long‑term strategic goals for the news section of the paper. They will also mentor freelance reporters to complete coverage.
QualificationsWe look for a diverse background in storytelling and all things news–related, from county and city government, to crime, to feel‑good feature stories—a jack of all trades for community journalism.
