Quality Assurance Technician

TRC is looking for a experience Calibration Tech for one of our Aerospace and Aviation clients based out of Covington, GA. This position is a long-term contract roles based onsite with plenty of opportunity for overtime!

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the calibration database for all company locations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with calibration suppliers to schedule and maintain timely responses for calibration requests.
• Develop and implement standard procedures for in-house calibration of precision measurement instruments, including gauges, sensors, pressure testers, torque wrenches, and related tools.
• Ensure all newly acquired equipment and instruments are properly cataloged and documented within the calibration database.
• Ensure instruments comply with national and international standards, such as NIST, ISO, FAA, and other applicable regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Calibration Technician, ideally in aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 calibration standards.
• Familiarity with Devonway software.
• Experience with gage repeatability and reproducibility studies.
• Understanding of statistical process control and analysis.
• Experience with SA (Systems Analysis, if relevant).
