Production Systems Specialist
Location: Covington, GA
Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour

The OpportunityWe are a premier aerospace company building the future of sustainable air mobility. Our team is designing and manufacturing all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft capable of transporting passengers at speeds up to 150 mph with minimal noise. We are looking for a dedicated Production Systems Specialist to join our Covington, Georgia operations and help us solve the complex challenges of modern flight.
WhatYou’ll Do
Electromechanical Implementation: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement advanced electromechanical systems.
Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to staff to diagnose problems and enhance team capabilities.
Aircraft Build & Mod: Assist with on- and off-aircraft modifications, including wire harness fabrication, connector terminations, routing, and component installation.
System Troubleshooting: Support the diagnosis and repair of various aircraft systems using calibrated test equipment.
Technical Compliance: Interpret and utilize engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and part lists to ensure high-fidelity builds.
Experience: 10+ years of related experience within the Aerospace sector.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of AS9100 requirements, aircraft safety, tool control, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) standards.
Technical Skill: Extensive experience with shop tools and calibrated aerospace tooling.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with evolving priorities.
Physical & Schedule Requirements: Must be able to distinguish colors, lift 25 lbs. unassisted, and provide off-hours or on-call support when necessary.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Manufacturing is preferred.
A&P Certification.
Knowledge of IPC 610/620 & AC43.13-B.
Experience with electric aircraft, high-voltage wiring, batteries, or electric motor controllers.
Experience working with an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and authoring work instructions.
Expertise in aircraft configuration management and conformity.
