As Principal Mechanical Project Engineer, you are the architect of that success—defining mechanical systems, validating them through rigorous analysis, and guiding engineers and partners to deliver a reliable, manufacturable product.
Your Mission- Architect, design, and refine advanced mechanical systems that balance performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects, holding scope, schedule, and budget to plan.
- Provide technical vision and resolve high‑stakes engineering challenges with data‑driven decisions.
- Run sophisticated simulations and tests to verify function and durability; drive design optimization.
- Authorize drawings, models, and prototypes to release; ensure alignment with ISO and ASME standards.
- Coordinate closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams and collaborate with clients and suppliers.
- Develop talent by mentoring junior and mid‑level engineers in techniques, reviews, and best practices.
- Advance continuous improvement and adopt emerging methods and tools that elevate engineering outcomes.
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience with proven program leadership.
- Advanced command of CAD (Solid Works, AutoCAD) and familiarity with CAD/CAM integration.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical design, analysis, and modern manufacturing techniques.
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously across the full product development lifecycle.
- Experience working within regulatory frameworks and industry standards (ISO, ASME).
- CNC automation solutions for prototyping and production.
- 3D modeling and 2D drawings with AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Industrial controls and system integration.
- Comprehensive CAD platforms (AutoCAD, Solid Works) for design and documentation.
