Overview
The current hours are Sunday, Monday, and Thursday 6p-6:30a.
Responsibilities- Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable.
- Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
- Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- No experience required
- 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred
- Experience in performing EKGs Preferred
- Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting Preferred
- None Required
- CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification (Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or equivalent agency) Preferred
