Job Summary

At Intellistars ABA, we are committed to providing ABA care that lives where the child does. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with developmental disabilities.

Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals
  • Assist in developing care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach
  • Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children
  • Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively
  • Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families
  • A passion for helping others improve their lives through effective behavioral therapy

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
