Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to patients across various critical care settings. This role involves evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ respiratory status through diagnostic testing and clinical evaluation.
• Administer and manage therapies including ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and make timely adjustments to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and implement protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress, and clinical observations.
• Comply with all safety and infection control standards during patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license in GA or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care environments such as NICU, ICU, ED, or medical floors.
• Ability to work during night shifts, including 3×12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Strong clinical assessment and ventilator management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of respiratory care equipment and protocols.
