CT Technologist - Weekend Option

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety at a hospital setting.

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images efficiently.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before exams.
• Communicate procedures clearly, address patient questions, and promote comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast media, position patients properly, and apply appropriate shielding and immobilization.
• Review images for quality, make necessary adjustments, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control practices.
• Organize workflows, support departmental operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications:
  
  ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, patient communication, and safety awareness.
