Key job responsibilities- Perform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix on various components, troubleshoot network issues, and respond to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed.
- Serve as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.
- Perform on‑call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change‑management activities.
- Contribute to documentation and process‑improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues.
- Help train and onboard new team members.
This is a night shift/overnight role requiring working approximately 6 pm to 8 am; the work schedule may vary depending on site needs. Travel within and outside the regional work area is required. Transportation will not be provided; a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required.
Physical requirements- Regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41 pounds or more.
- Work in cramped and/or elevated locations, bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching as necessary.
- Stand and walk up to 8 hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely without limitation.
- Work in a noisy environment.
- Work shifts longer than 8 hours, covering both night and day shifts for 24/7 operations.
- Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
- Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until assigned facility is operational.
- Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status.
- Take ownership of technical issues brought by the customer base and engage other teams when needed to drive resolution.
- Solve problems at their root and step back to understand the broader context.
- Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, and/or weekends.
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
- Experience working in a data center environment.
- Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional or military experience in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, networking).
- Understanding of network design, protocols, and layer 1/2 troubleshooting.

Starting pay: USA, GA, Covington – $27.00 to $48.00 USD hourly. USA, GA, Lithia Springs – $27.00 to $48.00 USD hourly.
