Electrical Sales & Ops Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical/Controls Sales Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving sales projects related to electrical/controls. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in electrical/controls, project management, and sales to successfully oversee the entire project life cycle. This position will have a base pay plus commission.

• Project Management:
  Lead and manage electrical/controls sales projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams involved in the project.
• Sales Strategy:
  Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for electrical/controls projects.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the electrical/controls sector.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations for clients.
• Client Relationship Management:
  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Understand client needs and requirements, providing tailored solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project life cycle.
• Technical Expertise:
  Possess a deep understanding of electrical/controls systems and technology.
• Provide technical guidance and support to both internal teams and clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure a competitive advantage.
• Budgeting and Cost Control:
  Develop project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

• Proven experience in project management and sales within the electrical/controls industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical/controls systems and components.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
