The Operations Engineer will support daily AOI/VRS operations, assist with operator coordination, and help ensure that inspection activities are performed accurately and efficiently. This position will receive hands‑on training in AOI/VRS processes, operator workflows, quality control standards, and production support activities.
This role is well suited for someone who is interested in manufacturing operations, quality control, and growing into a broader operational leadership role over time.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily AOI and VRS operation activities on the production floor.
- Assist operators with work assignments, process flow, and daily operation needs.
- Help coordinate shift schedules, shift handovers, and weekend coverage as needed.
- Monitor operation status and communicate issues to the appropriate team members.
- Work with AOI operators, VRS engineers, quality teams, and manufacturing teams to support smooth production flow.
- Help ensure operators follow inspection procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in identifying operational issues, delays, or abnormal situations during inspection activities.
- Prepare basic operation and quality‑related reports as needed.
- Support operator training, onboarding, and process improvement activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication across shifts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, quality control, production support, or operations is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with operators, engineers, and manufacturing teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work in an on‑site manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to support shift schedules, weekend schedules, or urgent operation needs as required.
- Interest in developing operational leadership skills over time.

This position will begin with hands‑on training in AOI/VRS operations and production support. As the employee gains process knowledge and demonstrates strong performance, there may be opportunities to grow into a lead or supervisory role.
