A-Line Staffing – Production Clerk
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented production clerk. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).
Details and Compensation- Location: Covington GA 30014 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $17.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6a-8:30p
The production clerk will support daily operations within a manufacturing warehouse environment. Responsibilities include component control, production tracking, inventory management, and clerical support for the kitting process.
- This is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs.
- Benefits become available to full‑time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short‑term disability insurance.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full‑time employees after 1 year of service on eligible dates.
- Pull and distribute components needed for production orders.
- Utilize work orders to support production schedules.
- Track production activity and maintain accurate records.
- Support manufacturing startup activities and movement of completed production runs.
- Maintain inventory levels within component storage areas.
- Prepare and coordinate component shipments to other facilities.
- Return unused materials and restocks to designated storage locations.
- Participate in training and assist with training production team members as needed.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED (verifiable). - Attendance:
Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. - Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing environment experience.
- Experience in inventory control, kitting, shipping, or production tracking.
- Frequent standing, reaching, and handling materials.
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work safely around moving equipment and machinery.
- Manufacturing and warehouse setting.
- Moderate to occasionally loud noise levels.
- Fast‑paced production environment.
