General Warehouse Labor

Duration: 3-Month Contract

Start Time: 11:00 AM

End Time: 7:30 PM

Total Hours per week: 40

Work Hours:

11:00 AM – 7:30 PM + mandatory overtime. Must be very flexible to start earlier and work until the day’s work is finished.

• May maintain records.
• Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Work within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adhere to quality guidelines.
• Work under general to limited supervision.

• Zero (0) to one (1) year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Manually unload trucks and stack pallets under 25 lbs (some weigh less than 5 lbs).
• Verify labels on boxes and match to pallets. Attention to detail is essential; scanning experience is required.
• Stand‑up forklift experience needed.
• Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses, training, certifications as needed.
• Have basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level that co‑workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English; perform basic math calculations; operate in a metrics‑driven environment; general computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, vibration.
• Occasional exposure to work at high precarious places and fumes/airborne particles.
• Hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (limited heating). Noise level moderate to loud.
