The Dr. Annise Mabry Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization advancing Educational Restoration - an emerging field focused on restoring educational opportunity after it has been disrupted by trauma, poverty, homelessness, foster care, justice involvement, school exclusion, and other forms of educational fragmentation.
Our work brings together research, implementation, artificial intelligence, and cross-sector collaboration to develop practical, scalable solutions that improve educational outcomes while strengthening communities.
For more than a decade, our organization has partnered with schools, law enforcement agencies, colleges, community organizations, and workforce partners to help vulnerable learners reconnect with education and build pathways to long-term success. Our work has served thousands of students and families across Georgia while informing a growing body of practice-based research.
As our organization continues to evolve, we are expanding beyond direct service to build the research, partnerships, intellectual property, and leadership necessary to advance Educational Restoration nationally.
We value innovation, integrity, collaboration, evidence-informed decision-making, and the belief that educational opportunity should not be determined by life circumstances. We are intentionally building a multidisciplinary leadership team that reflects the future we are working to create.
Whether your expertise is in higher education, artificial intelligence, philanthropy, finance, government, law, workforce development, research, or organizational strategy, we invite leaders who want to help shape the next chapter of Educational Restoration and strengthen educational opportunity for generations to come.
Help Shape the Future of Educational RestorationThe Dr. Annise Mabry Foundation is seeking visionary leaders to help shape the future of Educational Restoration - an emerging framework designed to restore educational opportunity after it has been disrupted by trauma, poverty, justice involvement, homelessness, foster care, school exclusion, and other forms of educational fragmentation.
We are building a national network of leaders who believe that strengthening educational opportunity is essential to strengthening communities.
