APP – Wound Care
Piedmont is recruiting for an APP to join our wound care team at Piedmont Newton Hospital. This is a full-time Monday through Friday position with no call responsibilities. You will work alongside two physicians providing care to a variety of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen patients within the inpatient and outpatient setting.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will:
- Provide medical services to individuals, families and/or groups, including: diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non-healing surgical wounds, vascular insufficiencies, wound grafts and any other wound care or hyperbaric oxygen needs.
- Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management.
- Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.
- Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, and provide direct patient care services.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates with at least 3 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a wound care setting.
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as an NP by the State of Georgia with national certification.
OR
Licensed as a Physician Assistant and approved to practice as a PA by the State of Georgia with national certification.
