Charge Nurse - MedSurg, Surg​/Neuro, WEO Nights

Responsibilities:

• Sign-On Bonus up to $10,000.00 Join us at Piedmont Newton as we continue to grow!
• We have just opened 15 additional acute care beds in a newly remodeled space.
• Our Surgery and Neuro unit at Piedmont Newton offers the following:
• Bedside documentation devices in every room
• Tele Neuro consults and rounding
• Rooms on same floor as Surgery Department
• Management of patients having or requiring:
• Post-surgical management including general surgery and hysterectomies
• TIA, Stroke, Seizures and other Neuro diagnoses
• General Acute Care Needs

• MINIMUM
  
  EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  
  Graduate of a nursing program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  
  REQUIRED:
  
  One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
  Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  
  Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Demonstrated clinical competency.
