Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within organizational policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee patient care activities of assigned staff, ensuring standards of practice are maintained.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes to promote optimal health.

• Graduate from a nursing program;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred, with at least 1 year for PRN roles.
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license; BCLS certification required.
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or Chemotherapy/Biotherapy.

• Provide specialized care in areas like Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Dialysis, Emergency, Oncology, Pediatrics, Surgical Services, and Women’s Services, with relevant certifications completed within specified time frames.
• Identify and report high-risk situations, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols.
• Maintain professional growth, accountability, and adherence to standards of practice.
