This position is responsible for leading the operations of the grooming salon, achieving targeted goals, and driving results to grow the business. This includes overseeing daily operations, training and coaching staff, and providing exceptional customer service to all pet parents and their dogs.

As a Salon Leader, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Support selling initiatives (TEAM):
  • Thank the Customer
  • Engage with the customer and/or pet
  • Advise products or services
  • Make it Memorable
• Perform a combination of daily duties including managing salon operations, assisting in hiring and onboarding, partnering with the Store Manager, driving salon growth, leading team development, providing grooming services, ensuring safety and sanitation, maintaining records, operating computer systems, and ensuring animal welfare.
• Enforce all salon policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2+ years experience in pet grooming under a professional groomer, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats, demonstrating patience and compassion.
• Must provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase them.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write, and count accurately.

• Operate grooming tools and equipment effectively.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Display compassion and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution.

• Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise.
• Exposure to wet conditions, grooming tools, pets, and pet waste.
• Ability to move and lift animals and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods, bend, kneel, squat, and operate equipment safely.
