Quality Control Inspector (QC Inspector)
A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented QC Inspector. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full‑time hours (40+ per week).
Details and Compensation- Location:
Covington GA 30014 – 100% on‑site - Payrate: $16/hr
- Required Availability:
Full‑Time | Monday – Friday, 6am - 2pm
The QC Inspector will play a critical part in ensuring that all processed products meet exact visual, physical, and dimensional requirements before being shipped out to customers. This role is responsible for auditing critical documentation, performing detailed product inspections, and verifying that all components are present before release. Additionally, the inspector identifies non‑conforming items and collaborates with operations to maintain high‑quality standards and procedural compliance.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

- Perform thorough visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of products to guarantee compliance with established specifications.
- Review and audit incoming and kitting Device History Records (DHRs) to ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Verify that all product components are present and accounted for before the kitting and assembly process begins.
- Promptly initiate, follow up on, and implement dispositions for non‑conforming products. Report any deviations from standard procedures to the Quality Management or Supervisor team.
- Ensure all testing and measurement equipment is in proper working order and calibrated before use.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) - Attendance:
Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. - 1+ years of related QC experience.
- Technical:
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams). - Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information in small group settings and collaborate smoothly with operations teams. - Core Math:
Ability to perform standard mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using fractions, decimals, percentages, and ratios. - Problem Solving:
Capable of detecting patterns/trends, interpreting varying instructions, and demonstrating sound judgment during record reviews.
- Must be able to stand regularly throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and operate a pallet jack.
- Requires close vision for product inspection.
- Works primarily in a warehouse/distribution center environment subject to fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
