Join our team as a Meat Market Specialist!

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to help us maintain the highest standards in our meat department. As a Meat Market Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the proper rotation and freshness of all meat products by checking dates regularly.
• Inspecting cuts for quality appearance and trimming as needed.
• Adhering to safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean work environment.
• Helping to keep accurate inventory counts and assist with stock management.
• Wrapping meat and expertly managing display cases in the department.
• Following proper scale maintenance procedures and sanitation practices.
• Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Meat Manager on Duty.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to safely work around meat cutting and grinding equipment while it is in operation.

This position requires the ability to lift and control up to 40 pounds. Candidates should be prepared for tasks involving standing, walking, reaching, twisting, bending/stooping, and repetitive arm and hand movements.
