Amazon Web Services (AWS) serves customers and developers who rely on storage, compute, and other service capabilities. AWS is trusted to secure customers’ data with air‑tight security measures.

• Drive operational security excellence across multiple data‑center facilities.
• Identify and remediate physical security gaps and shortcomings immediately.
• Coordinate and direct vendors for new security construction, repairs, daily operations, and patrols.
• Extract metrics and monitor improvements through hard data analysis.
• Recommend enhancements to electronic surveillance and access‑control systems.
• Educate data‑center occupants on reducing false alarms.
• Write and implement security processes and procedures.
• Produce reports, create presentations, and communicate operational status to management.

• 2+ years overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• Experience in security– or risk–related fields.
• 1+ year of experience in security roles, preferably in a data‑center or similar environment.

• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• College degree (Bachelor’s) or background in military, law enforcement, TSA security screening, or correctional facility officer.
• 2+ years of security experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
