The AWS Data Center Security team is looking for a creative, innovative, results‑oriented program manager in the Georgia/Atlanta area to lead security and security‑systems projects and programs in the data center environment. The role involves managing difficult and interdependent projects with regional impact, enabling the interpretation of Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards, and ensuring that local security teams have the technical knowledge and resources to meet ongoing physical‑security missions.

• Project Management for physical security systems related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Preparation of physical security project lifecycle management, including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close‑out documentation.
• Contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for leadership to make strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.
• Balance performance metrics such as physical security system installation vendor service delivery performance, actual spend vs. budget variance, cost‑reduction goal attainment, post‑installation defect rates, and physical security program analysis.
• Manage vendors for onboarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Effectively and accurately manage multi‑million‑dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams and provide support for global initiatives.

• Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.

• Ability to communicate/brief effectively with both technical and non‑technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs.
• Experience in the delivery of physical security projects or programs within an enterprise setting.
• Background in Physical Security Design, Security Systems Deployment, Physical Security Operations, Security Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or physical security designs.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross‑functional teams across geographies and business units.
• PSP, CPP, PMP Certification; training in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED); certification or experience with Lenel Access Control System.
