Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a global leader in cloud infrastructure. The AWS Data Center Security team in the Georgia/Atlanta area is seeking a program manager to lead physical security system projects and programs within data center environments. The role requires managing complex, interdependent projects with regional impact, ensuring adherence to Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards while collaborating across teams to maintain high security standards.

• Project management for physical security systems related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Prepare project lifecycle management, including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close‑out documentation.
• Assess emerging physical security technologies for applicability within the AWS program.
• Provide subject matter expert support to leadership for strategic decisions on technology and procedures.
• Balance performance metrics such as vendor service delivery, spend versus budget variance, cost reduction goals, post‑installation defect rates, and program analysis.
• Manage vendor onboarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Manage multi‑million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams and support global initiatives.

• Experience in physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.

• Ability to communicate and brief both technical and non‑technical audiences about physical security standards and system designs.
• Experience delivering physical security projects or programs within an enterprise setting.
• Background in Physical Security Design, Security Systems Deployment, Physical Security Operations, Security Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other physical security design tools.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority and lead cross‑functional teams across geographies and business units.
• Relevant certifications such as PSP, CPP, PMP, or training in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). Experience or certification with Lenel Access Control System is a plus.
