Position Title: Lead Electrician (Commercial/Industrial Experience)
Location: Covington, GA (Atlanta, GA)
Salary Range: $35/hr-$45/hr

Tiello has partnered with a leading Electrical Contractor who is in need of an
Lead Electrician with a strong background in Commercial/ Industrial electrical systems to lead and manage on-site electrical installations and crews. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines, and maintain compliance with safety and building codes.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and apprentices on commercial job sites
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Plan and lay out electrical work in coordination with project managers and general contractors
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety regulations
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to design
- Order materials and manage inventory on-site
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain daily reports, time logs, and project documentation
- High school diploma or GED; technical school or apprenticeship certification preferred
- Valid state electrical journeyman or master electrician license
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial/ Industrial electrical work
- Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or foreman experience
- Strong knowledge of Industrial electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and PLC's.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Solid understanding of job site safety practices and OSHA standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with project management software or mobile field apps
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Ability to work in various environments (indoors/outdoors, confined spaces, elevated areas)
- Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing, bending, or climbing ladders for extended periods
