- - Responsibilities:
Operate tractor-trailer or straight truck with pup trailer following OSHA/DOT requirements and company expectations; maintain a clean and safe vehicle;
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and log issues in eDVIR for corrective actions;
Report unsafe conditions or service calls to Operations Manager and Dispatch;
Coordinate with Operations Manager/Dispatch to improve route efficiencies and address unsafe accounts;
Position and dump containers at customer locations and ensure driveways/traffic are not blocked; complete route documentation and communication with Dispatch at day end
