- Processing customer orders: scanning barcodes, labeling boxes, picking products, and preparing packages for shipment.
- Palletizing: scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
- Re-palletizing products for shipment.
- Dock manifest duties: scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.
- Operating the ground/manual manifest station.
- Transporting pallets using material handling equipment.
- Ensuring timely completion of assigned duties in accordance with departmental standards.
- Maintaining an acceptable work area as outlined in Quality System Regulations (QSR).
- Following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
- Prioritizing safety and maintaining safe working conditions.
- Regular and reliable attendance at work.
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Experience operating material handling equipment and RF scanners.
- Basic analytical and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with general distribution and QSR knowledge.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Ability to work well with other employees.
- Ability to operate in a metrics-driven environment.
- Good prioritization skills.
- General computer skills.
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack (if required).
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
- Must be able to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and repetitive motion of wrists, hands, or fingers.
