Material Handler – Reach/Order Picker forklift needed

40 hours per week – 1st Shift, Tuesday – Friday (6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

This position performs warehouse/material distribution tasks related to receiving and shipment of product. The holder moves inventory by operating a forklift.

• Unload inbound trucks (inter‑company deliveries, vendors, etc.)
• Load outbound trucks (inter‑company shipments, off‑site warehouse, etc.)
• Locate and retrieve products and replenish picking locations using FEFO methodology.
• Move pallets on dock.
• May be required to physically stack/transport product from larger sterilization pallet to regular pallet before moving by forklift to dock.
• Ensure all assigned duties are completed safely and timely, following department standards and procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs.
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOPs.
• Work diligently to maintain safe working conditions and adhere to proper operating practices and procedures to prevent injuries and illnesses.
• May be required to perform additional warehouse associate duties.
• May be required to train new hires on RF functions.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance at work.
• Wear safety shoes required for position.

• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents; work under minimal supervision; operate in a metrics‑driven environment; concentrate and stay alert at all times; work well with others.
• Experienced in the safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Licensed to operate material handling equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience on cherry picker or/and reach lift.

• Good verbal communication skills.

• Good basic math skills.

• Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions in written and oral form, and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Lifting over 50 lbs in some areas.
• Walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, hearing, twisting, frequent use of hands.
• Lifting, occasional climbing; possible exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, and extreme weather conditions.
• Work without AC in summer and limited heating in winter; exposure to fumes/airborne particles; moderate to loud noise level.
