We’re partnering with a family‑owned organization seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in day‑to‑day accounting operations and financial reporting. This position works closely with the Accounting Manager and CFO and is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, safeguarding company assets, and supporting compliance across multiple states.

• Maintain a strong understanding of the general ledger and financial reporting structure
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses
• Support month‑end close and financial reporting processes
• Partner with an external CPA firm to support year‑end reviews and tax filings
• Assist with cash management, banking relationships, and bank reconciliations
• Manage fixed assets, including depreciation, disposals, and asset tracking
• Support sales and use tax compliance and filings across multiple states
• Assist with inventory controls, physical counts, and reconciliations
• Support insurance renewals, claims, and vehicle disposals
• File annual business license renewals in applicable states

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in general accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting systems (Acumatica experience a plus)
• Advanced organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
