A growing public accounting firm is looking to add a Tax Senior to its expanding tax practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional looking to take the next step in their career, gain direct exposure to Partners, and work with a diverse portfolio of closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, individuals, trusts, and estates.
- Assist with tax planning, research, and consulting engagements for a diverse client base.
- Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and providing ongoing guidance.
- Work closely with Partners and Senior Managers to deliver high-quality client service and identify tax planning opportunities.
- Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions for clients.
- Participate in larger client engagements, helping to identify issues, analyze tax implications, and recommend strategies.
- Continue developing technical expertise through ongoing professional education and training.
- Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
- Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and estates.
- CPA license or actively pursuing certification with the intention of obtaining it in the near future.
- Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience supervising staff or leading engagements is preferred.
- Proficiency with leading tax, accounting, and research software.
