Job Description
Administrative Professional 2 – Ohio Fire Academy
Full‑time position at the Ohio State Fire Marshal Office located at 8895 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. Compensation is $22.96 per hour.
Responsibilities- Prepare student accounts receivable invoices for tuition, dormitory stays, and equipment rental. Collect fees, issue receipts, and prepare refunds.
- Compile and report statistical information and assist in the preparation of periodic reports of Ohio Fire Academy activities.
- Assist in expediting guest check‑in.
- Provide administrative assistance to training staff to support training grounds and regional delivery of fire, EMS, and first responder training throughout Ohio.
- 18 months experience or training in secretarial/administrative professional field.
- Or completion of associate core coursework in secretarial science or business office applications from an accredited career school or community college.
- Or 6 months experience as Administrative Professional 1 (Job Code 16871).
- Equivalent of the minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
