We Are Hiring:
Bookkeeper / Office Administrator
Company: W. T. Nickell Label Company
Location: Batavia, Ohio 45244 (In-Office)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $25.00/hr.
- $52,000 per year
- Record Transactions: Document daily income, expenses, and receipts in accounting software.
- Manage Ledgers: Maintain an accurate general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Accounts Payable (A/P): Verify vendor invoices and process timely payments.
- Accounts Receivable (A/R): Generate customer invoices and handle deposits.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly matching of bank and credit card statements.
- Payroll Administration: Process employee payroll, tracking hours, and deductions.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with preparing monthly P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Office Management: Manage phone lines, emails, and greet incoming visitors.
- Document Control: Maintain digital and physical filing systems for records.
- External Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external accountants and vendors.
- Experience: 3–5 years of dual-focused bookkeeping and administrative experience.
- Education: High school diploma required;
Associate's degree or accounting certificate preferred. - Software
Skills:
Practical proficiency in Quick Books Online and Microsoft Excel. - Preferred Skill: Knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software is highly desired.
