Position: Administrative Assistant III (Executive)

Humana is seeking an Administrative Assistant who has experience supporting executive level leadership to join the team as an Administrative Assistant 3 working remote. Reporting directly to the VP, Retail Digital Transformation, you will manage, prioritize and complete tasks for 3 senior level executives and meet their organizational needs.

This role is a remote role for candidates located in Kentucky, Florida, Texas and Washington D.C.

Key Role Functions
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, partners, providers, corporate and community leaders.
  • Manage and maintain calendars/schedules using sound judgment to prioritize meetings.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, schedule meeting times, make travel arrangements for attendees and ensure meeting amenities are available.
  • Complete expense reconciliation accurately and timely for leaders supported.
  • Assist leadership team with presentations, responses to requests, reports, meeting agendas and meeting materials.
  • Maintain and manage travel schedules, including appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Determine proper course of action for incoming requests, calls and correspondence, and direct to appropriate person or operational area.
  • Anticipate needs before they happen and take initiative to eliminate potential bottlenecks.

To be successful in this role, you must perform at a high‑intensity pace, juggle multiple projects with a positive attitude, produce quality work, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Additional responsibilities include occasional on‑site travel for business needs.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting multiple senior‑level executives in a large and complex organization.
  • Experience managing detailed calendaring/scheduling, follow‑up requests, and travel-related planning with a low rate of error.
  • Proven experience coordinating complex travel arrangements for senior leaders, including booking flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and managing itinerary changes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in navigating and utilizing multiple systems and software applications concurrently.
  • High level of professionalism, strong executive presence, and polished corporate demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills and consistency in representing the organization’s values.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness while handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives, effectively prioritize workload, and remain flexible to support urgent business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in proofreading/editing.
  • Experience with expense reports and reviewing financial documents to align with company policy.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information. Self‑provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25
