NXT Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and growing automotive group to recruit a vehicle valeter for their state‑of‑the‑art preparation centre in Penrith. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and expanding team, responsible for preparing used vehicles to the highest standard before they are presented for sale. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles meet the company’s quality standards and are ready for customers.

This position would suit someone who is hardworking, reliable, and has a genuine interest in the automotive industry. Previous valeting experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

• Clean and prepare used vehicles to a high standard, ready for sale
• Complete interior and exterior valeting of vehicles
• Carry out vehicle preparation tasks including washing, polishing, vacuuming, and detailing
• Ensure vehicles are presented in line with company standards
• Identify and report any issues or defects during the preparation process
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Use valeting equipment and products safely and effectively
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet preparation deadlines
• Support the wider preparation centre team as required

• Full UK driving license held for a minimum of 12 months
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
• Hardworking and reliable approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced automotive environment

• Previous experience in vehicle valeting, detailing, or automotive preparation
• Interest in cars and the automotive industry
• Experience using professional cleaning products and equipment
