The Marketing Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Operations Supervisor. The Marketing Ops Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Ops Supervisor and Marketing Ops Manager in everyday operations of the Loyalty Club and the Promotions areas of the Marketing Department. This is a full-time position, in which the Coordinator will be required to follow a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, in the accordance with the scheduling of promotions, events or other Marketing initiatives that may take place on or off property.
EssentialFunctions
- Responsible for the execution of all on-site Promotions, Programs, and Events, including owning the customer experience, monitoring rule compliance, and handling all on-site logistics.
- Helps to create and manage team schedules, taking availability and vacation requests into account. Ensures team members receive required breaks based on shift length and business needs.
- Ensures the Promotional Center and Loyalty club areas are clean, organized and represent a professional environment.
- In the absence of the Marketing Ops Supervisor, acts as the front-line supervisor for all team members or guest issues, resolving marketing operations guest issues in a timely manner and escalates to Marketing Operations Manager as needed.
- Licensed and authorized to obtain money from the cage and to distribute promotional prize money on the gaming floor.
- Assist the Marketing Operations Manager and Marketing Ops Supervisor in other assigned duties.
- Works directly with Player Development as needed to service VIP guests.
- Ensures compliance with all established departmental and company wide policies, Code of Commitment, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Follow all Purchasing guidelines, ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete and processed in a timely manner.
- Must be flexible in a demanding environment.
- Maintains confidentiality of all matters regarding guests, team members and the business operation.
- Leads the team in managing and prioritizing warehouse preparation schedule by coordinating what materials need to be unboxed or de-nested and organized for the best possible means of streamlining the redemption process.
- As needed, this role may be responsible for physical labor consisting of lifting, unboxing and stacking physical inventory. The operation of a forklift or pallet jack may also be required.
- Requests property collateral from the advertising specialist on a monthly basis, detailing event times, locations and required directionals.
- Coordinates with outside vendors required for property promotions and events. Acts as point-of-contact for vendors while on property.
- Responsible for tracking all inventory that enters or exits property, including but not limited to gift, gift cards, lottery tickets, and other items with cash value. Assists with the execution of quarterly/monthly audits to reconcile entries.
- Attends meetings with the database team to advise on system needs required for event execution. Makes recommendations using past event experiences to guide logistics.
- Facilitates a positive working relationship with all departments, such as Direct Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, VLT (Slots) and Player Development to promote and ensure smooth execution of all on and off property Events and Promotions.
- Formulates and submits Promotional Recaps within 12-hours after the execution of each promotion and event. Maintain records, charts, and graphs of promotions on a monthly basis.
- Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills and acts as a positive role model for all employees.
- Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
- Ability to maintain composure and excellent guest relations under all circumstances.
- Self-motivated with sense of urgency to keep up with fast paced business practices.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
- Respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
- Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
