Channel Operation Analyst: Level 2 - OHIO

Job Summary

The Analyst, Channel Operations plays a key role in enabling and optimizing third-party distribution channels through effective data management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. This position partners with internal stakeholders and external distributors to ensure accurate data transmission, streamline operations, and support strategic channel initiatives.

• Provide day-to-day support for channel operations, assisting with data alignment and reconciliation between internal systems and external distribution partners.
• Monitor and validate data across third-party platforms to ensure accuracy and escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Analytics, and internal teams to support channel processes and respond to operational requests.
• Support multiple operational initiatives, including acting as an external representative of MHE operations and partnering with stakeholders internally as an SME for distribution processes.
• Partner with Sales and GTM teams on channel operation processes and support dispute escalation as directed by the Sr Director.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

5 years of applicable experience.

Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Excel – advanced formulas, pivot tables; experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred).
• Ability to manage and reconcile large datasets across multiple systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
• Process improvement mindset with experience identifying inefficiencies and driving operational enhancements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic understanding of data governance, metadata management, and system integrations preferred.

Preferred:

• Detailed working knowledge of course material distribution landscape in the Higher Education market.
• Exposure to data analysis tools (such as Power BI, Tableau or Alteryx).
• Experience using Business Intelligence queries or SQL.
