Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Operations Manager

Would you like to join a successful, dynamic, forward-thinking, family-owned civil engineering business? Do you have great administrative experience that will enable you to be a valuable Resource Co-ordinator supporting the Operations team to plan Site resource across the region?
Based from our Carlisle office, this role will work closely with our site teams to co-ordinate short and long term site rosters (rotas) based on site and resource requirements. Additionally, leading the compliance with fatigue management and training plans.
Key Responsibilities- Create and manage accurate rosters, distributed on a weekly basis.
- Ensure all rostered shifts are compliant with the fatigue rules and are accurately recorded.
- Ensure site teams are logging their working hours correctly and resolve any exceptions.
- Manage travel and accommodation requirements.
- Absence and holiday management.
- Review training requirements and bookings to ensure alignment to rosters.
- Support Operations management with resource and systems queries.
- General resource administration and projects.
- Rail or construction industry experience and working knowledge of fatigue rules (desirable)
- Administration experience (essential)
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Proactively solution focussed and flexible, with a tenacious approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
