Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Project Manager within the PMO, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex U.S. healthcare programs spanning operations, technology, compliance, and client delivery.
  • You will serve as the primary project leader, partnering with internal teams and external clients to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness while maintaining the highest standards of governance and regulatory compliance.
  • This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional leadership, executive presence, and the ability to build credibility with clients and senior leaders.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills while leading complex healthcare implementations within highly regulated environments.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional healthcare implementation and operational initiatives from project initiation through successful transition to operations and project closure.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and critical path dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Establish and drive project governance by ensuring adherence to PMO methodologies, standards, and delivery best practices while promoting consistency across the portfolio.
  • Facilitate project governance activities, including project kickoffs, status meetings, steering committees, executive reviews, and decision-making forums.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for project execution, acting as the trusted liaison between clients, executive sponsors, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with executive leadership, clients, and key stakeholders through transparent communication and proactive engagement.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by anticipating needs, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment on project objectives, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver concise, executive-level presentations, status reports, and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Technology, Product, Quality, Client Services, and other business functions to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive accountability across project teams by proactively managing deliverables, timelines, interdependencies, and resource commitments.
  • Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and potential obstacles, implementing mitigation strategies before they impact project objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and ensure timely communication, ownership, and resolution of project challenges.
  • Manage project scope through disciplined change control processes, evaluating impacts to timeline, budget, resources, and client commitments.
  • Escalate critical risks and issues with well-defined recovery plans, actionable recommendations, and clear executive communication.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, project health reports, KPI tracking, and portfolio reporting to provide accurate visibility into project performance.
  • Monitor project financials, resource utilization, schedule performance, and delivery metrics to ensure projects remain on track and within approved parameters.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with PMO governance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support portfolio planning, resource forecasting, and executive portfolio reviews by providing accurate project data, capacity insights, and delivery recommendations.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the Enterprise PMO by developing and enhancing methodologies, governance processes, templates, and delivery standards.
